Featured today, the Grummlies have arrived in my neighborhood as the new Endeavor. I can't say I love them, but I have had my main housing person killing dozens of Hozen in Pandaria. I have sacks of coffee! Coffee cups! An embiggened coffee pot!
My house finally got to level 7! Though it was midnight, I had to run home and try several layouts featuring new rooms, and basically a new wing of the house was in place because I'd been dying to add on. All of this with just one level gain! Two levels to go and I'll add rooms to my maze of adventurers curiosities.
I'll decorate it tomorrow, I said. Then I moved all of my Mechagon stuff to a cozy room at the end of a hall. It does include items from the dread Consortium Endeavor as well.
Next, my overcrowded corner of the room Alchemy Lab got a new octagon room just on the other side of the Dark Portal. The Dark Portal was always going to be the entrance to the new area.
The Alchemy Lab
It will take a long time for this whole wing to be tweaked, but the Alchemy lab is just as I'd like it to be. Until I find more cool stuff.
Library Hall/Wing
I pulled all of my loose books from all over the house and am sorting them on the floor. Part of me would like all the same bookcases through the area, more of me wants to show off the unique ones I have earned or created.
Bedroom in development
I sent a human to Stormwind to look at the vendor there who had much more reputation with Stormwind than the two Night Elves I had previously sent, doh. A huge table now for more feasts. I need more chairs.
Visiting my brother in laws in game house always motivates me. The timer was up on my spouse's one month re-subscribe, but he not only renewed, he purchased Midnight and got the Dragonflight Expansion, War Within and Midnight itself.
My brother in law had moved his house next to my sister, well very near. Next thing you know, I was looking at my own neighborhood and there (showing as a blue house on the map) was a charming plot near mine that backs up on a little pond and there's a large hill right behind the pond.
Feverish these days with layout plans in my head, I only made one change, the first room is a small octagonal room. The outside is charming as is, for now. Even though he plans to do nothing with it (ha, wait till we go decor hunting in dungeons), I really love that he's nearby.
Up and Down the Timeways
Mr Atheren (as he called himself here in a comment) tired of the Dragon Isles pretty quickly, and wanted to move on. If you've played through the Dalaran destruction scenario, you know it ends with a quest called The Departure and a final boss that just bangs you around, and he spawns lots of little helpers. You have to do it once, then you can skip it. He couldn't beat guy, I couldn't beat the guy with his character. I leveled a character up to help him but she never even got offered the quest sequence. I'm leveling a new character (level 52 to start, not quite new) and hope she gets the quest at level 68 as she should.
Thanks to his being in the game and me having someone to craft for, I'm going back and leveling crafters in Dragon Isles trades. I skipped that expansion altogether, and I see now it was a mistake to do that. Never again.
Meanwhile in Kul Tiras...
My Tailor has been gathering materials to make the decor items for BFA. This means a ton of Deep Sea Satin. I have had my level 89 Paladin going through the Freehold dungeon to get some satin, but also cloth armor to send through the scrapper in Boralus for more Deep Sea Satin. Bonus: nice red chairs from the last boss of the dungeon.
Crucible of the Storms in Stormsong Valley has the highly desirable votive candle rack. You get sleepy on every approach and are bounced out of the area. I finally found a video that gives you an alternate route!! I went in with my paladin and voila!
It is so much prettier in person than in pictures. Naturally I will need another for my Horde house. I'd like to go another time and have my spouse come in and be the one to get the loot so he can have one in his house. As someone who is not a raider, I find the timer lockout on going back in to be annoying. I want those candles! I do have two 90s though, and could send them. Also annoying, there are some npcs that, even though they have no health and should just be dead, they keep chasing you.
My main character has been slogging it out in Sothrecar's Rise, Draenor, for awhile trying to get Exalted with the Council Of Exarchs. With that rep she could buy the highly desirable Shadowmoon Valley Greenhouse. Finally:

Here it is, in my "cloud room" as my sister calls it, max sized. I picked up everything in the room and will just be admiring it for a bit.

We finally got 5 of us together to get my brother in law his home visiting quest credit. It should have been easy but, of course that would be crazy.
My brother in law moved his house since I saw it last to a new neighborhood and changed the design completely. He now has my sister as a neighbor. Isn't that sweet. He did such a good job of creating a rambling house with a bridge on the second floor. He seemed to have most of the Mechagon decor, I'm so jealous.
Just as when I visited him last time, I was ready to re-design my Horde House, so I removed everything but the kitchen. It now has cross shaped rooms, L Shaped Rooms, even an octagon room.

I put a tiny square room next to the bedroom and made the start of a proper bathroom for it. Note I used a mechagon item that looks like a toilet for the...toilet. Unbelievably, while I was taking a screenshot of my new bathroom I got a guild invite. WTF? Timing city. Declined. Definitely enlarge for the guild name.
I've been playing WoW on my laptop quite a bit in the evenings. I have a new Lenovo Legion laptop. It's lightweight and small by preference after my cumbersome, heavy old Asis laptop with it's keyboard that died and I had to have a clunky one set over the keyboard to play.
My new laptop is a dream and plays the game well, but screenshots are better on my gaming desktop pc with it's huge screen. This laptop also has a Nvidia overlay which uses Alt + Z to help you take pictures in game. You can't use Alt + Z to remove the U/I as you normally would, so teeny pictures incoming.
From the Trading Post, I purchased the sets for my Worgen I had liked in an earlier preview. My pictures here are from the "dressing room" (?) feature that shows you while you're in the shop what your character looks like in the attire.
Epic fail, my attempt at a treehouse. It's long gone, never fear.
I found a vendor in Valdrakken that not only sold teapots, but tea cups. Apparently there's some long quest to get one, but once you have it you can buy more. I thought from what I read you were supposed to do a food tasting daily till you got the one which gave you the quest. All I ever got were weird food buffs and a cheese head. I'm going to seek another way.
